On Monday, Target Corp said that it would triple the number of Disney Stores within its outlets, expanding the number to 160.

As the holiday season approaches, Target intends to bring the magic of Disney to increase foot traffic. Currently, there are 53 small shops inside Target stores and an online store at Target.com/Disneystore.

Target is not the only store to expand into the toys market with the holiday season closing in. Recently Macy’s expanded its toy offering by striking a deal with Toys R Us to open shops at more than 400 locations and online. A larger assortment of Toys R Us merchandise is now available on Macy’s website.

During the company’s earnings call, Chief Growth Officer Christina Hennington said that toys have continued to show momentum in Target’s second quarter, which ended July 31, as toy sales grew in the low 20% range year over year during those three months.

CNBC reported that, along with Disney, Target would also collaborate with toy retailer FAO Schwarz for the second year in a row. It will have an exclusive, 70-piece toy collection with FAO Schwarz, including items from Barbie and Paw Patrol, and a pop-up shop inside of FAO Schwarz’s flagship store in New York City.
