Electrified powertrain maker Hyliion Holdings Corp. reshuffles top executives

Shiva Duraiswamy appointed vice-president to focus on commercialization
- Chief technology officer Patrick Sexton to take care of forward-looking product strategies
Electrified powertrain maker Hyliion Holdings Corp. (NYSE: HYLN) has appointed Shiva Duraiswamy as vice-president of engineering to “primarily focus on commercialization.”
In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the Austin TA-based company said chief technology officer Patrick Sexton will be in charge of “forward-looking product strategies and development.”

In the 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company clarifies it has entered into an agreement with Sexton to amend an employment agreement of December 2, 2020, which was made retroactively effective from October 1, 2020.
The NYSE-listed company’s stocks rose 1.97% early on the day to trade at $7.31 after opening at $7.08.

Hyliion Holdings Corp. is one of the leaders in developing and manufacturing hybrid and electrified powertrains for commercial transportation. The company, established in 2015, develops battery systems, and control software. Its flagship product is the fully electric Hypertruck ERX system.
