Several studies have shown that boosters are effective against the omicron variant of Covid.

Former President Donald Trump got booed by a crowd after he said he has received a booster vaccine shot for Covid-19.

Trump said he has received a booster shot on the last day of a four-day tour of “The History Show” with Bill O’Reilly, the former Fox News host.

Trump asked some people in the audience to stop hooting about that in Dallas on Sunday afternoon.

Trump also said during the same show, “We saved tens of millions worldwide by creating the vaccine.”

“It would have been like the Spanish flu without it. … We should take credit for it, and you play right into their hands” when you question the vaccine’s value, he added.

Many Republicans have refused to get coronavirus vaccine. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, as of October, 60% of the unvaccinated Americans are Republicans.

Several studies have shown that boosters are effective against the omicron variant of Covid.

The spokesman for Covid communications from the Biden administration’s U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said on Twitter, “Be like President Trump, and get your booster shot.”

Trump has faced similar reaction in an August rally in Cullman, Alabama, after asking supporters to get vaccinated.

“And you know what? I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You’ve got to do what you have to do,” Trump said.

“But, I recommend: take the vaccines. I did it. It’s good. Take the vaccines.”

In October 2020, Trump was hospitalized with Covid for several days. He has previously said he was vaccinated before leaving the White House in January.
